When he wasn't lending a helping hand, he enjoyed gardening, hunting and was an avid Huskers sports fan. He also loved raising horses, rabbits, pigeons and beekeeping. Art was born in Red Cloud, Nebraska to George and Erva Goebel November 8, 1950. Art was an U.S Air Force Viet Nam Veteran and retired after 20 years of service. He was a loving and devoted husband, to his wife Surang. He never failed to tell her how much he loved her every single day.
